The Sr Analytics Engineer at GE Aviation will play a pivotal role in the development and deployment of physics-based analytics specifically related to turbofan engines. They will be at the forefront of advancing the state-of-the-art in physics-based analytics and data science, ensuring that analytics are incorporated into engine testing to better understand the impacts of design changes and fielded durability expectations. The engineer will execute analyses and evaluations of assigned projects, ensuring they meet business standards, practices, and product requirements with limited guidance. The role also involves providing technical leadership to personnel and cross-functional teams, implementing plans to meet technical requirements, and developing action plans to address issues. The Sr Analytics Engineer will lead or participate in teams focused on organizational initiatives and generic issues, recommending approaches to meet technical and program requirements. Participation in technical and program reviews is expected, along with ensuring proper documentation of technical data generated for assigned projects, consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
