About the position

The Senior Tester position at JMP focuses on enhancing the quality of JMP Clinical products through rigorous testing methodologies. This role involves planning, documenting, and executing functional and validation tests, particularly for clinical data. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of advanced solutions in clinical data science and machine learning, ensuring the reliability and effectiveness of software products used in the life sciences sector.

Responsibilities

• Plans, documents, and performs functional, validation, and systematic testing for new and existing reports.
• Reports defects, evaluates fix requests, and verifies fixes.
• Creates unit tests for different reports with different studies.
• Provides feedback to developers.
• Stays current with analytical methodologies by researching literature and participating in courses or conferences.
• Reviews software documentation and provides detailed, constructive feedback.

Requirements

• Advanced software testing experience.
• Experience working with clinical trials data and assessing its quality.
• Strong knowledge of clinical trials workflows and data analysis.
• Experience with automation testing.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or a closely related industry.
• Familiarity with CDISC data standards.
• Excellent communication skills, especially the ability to develop strong and friendly rapport with developers.

Nice-to-haves

• B.S., Masters, or PhD in Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Biostatistics, Clinical Statistics or other life-science-analytic focused majors.
