About the position

The Sr. Android Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining Android applications, working independently while providing guidance to junior developers. This role requires a strong background in Android development, Java programming, and experience with third-party SDKs and APIs. The position is a 6-month contract based in Jamaica, NY, with a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of industry-related professional experience and education.
• 7 years of experience in software development, specifically in Android Apps Development.
• 5 years of experience in Java programming language.
• 12 months of experience with third-party SDKs, libraries, and APIs.
• 3 years of experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.
• 3 years of experience in Agile projects.
