About the position

The Sr. Android Developer will be responsible for developing customer-facing mobile applications for American Airlines, focusing on delivering a superior user experience while supporting key business objectives. The role involves collaboration with team members throughout the application development lifecycle, utilizing Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer-facing mobile applications for Android.
• Collaborate with team members in all aspects of application development including design, development, and delivery.
• Utilize Agile processes for application development.
• Write automated tests to ensure application quality.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Android Development.
• 3+ years of experience with Kotlin and Java programming.
• 3+ years of experience with Jetpack, including Compose and debugging skills.
• Experience with build/deployment tools such as Android Studio, Gradle, and Git.
• Experience working with Apple frameworks and APIs.
• Familiarity with common iOS architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM).
• Experience writing automated tests with XCTest and XCUITest.
