In this role, you will provide subject matter expertise and direction on complex projects and initiatives within your assigned area of application development responsibility. Your primary focus will be on developing innovative business solutions by creating new applications, modifying existing applications, and providing post-production support. You will be responsible for delivering complex business application software solutions while adhering to the system development life cycle process. You will maintain knowledge of current and emerging developments and trends relevant to your responsibilities, assessing their impact and collaborating with senior management to incorporate these trends into current and future solutions. Your role will also involve directing and enhancing organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and departmental or enterprise initiatives. As a mentor, you will provide guidance on complex assignments, projects, and initiatives, helping to build and enhance the capabilities of your team. You will assess and measure the impacts of solution designs on IT infrastructure capacity, application architecture standards, and future maintenance and support needs, consulting with appropriate internal stakeholders. Additionally, you will serve as a subject matter expert, providing direction on the design and development of application systems while understanding the broad implications and financial impacts of proposed solutions. Your responsibilities will include analyzing, designing, coding, debugging, integrating, and testing complex software application solutions. You will create technical specifications from business requirements and provide expertise regarding the integration of applications across the business. You will also partner with internal stakeholders to ensure that systems are designed, developed, and implemented from a business perspective, while investigating and resolving complex problems in a timely manner. Effective communication with internal stakeholders and management will be essential, as will ensuring that system improvements are successfully implemented. Experience in the Agile framework and development model is also required.
