About The Position
As a Sr. Application Developer - Software Engineer at Mastech Digital, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality software solutions for our clients in the Consulting Service domain. This position requires a deep understanding of application development, particularly in Java and related technologies. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications that meet the needs of our clients while ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Your expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices will be essential as you work on various projects that leverage cloud technologies, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP). In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments, ensuring that applications are running smoothly and efficiently. You will also be involved in the containerization of applications using Docker and Kubernetes, which will require a solid understanding of deployment and configuration processes. Your knowledge of CI/CD pipelines will be critical in streamlining the development process and enhancing the overall productivity of the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with a minimum of 6 years of experience in application development. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to changing project requirements. This is a contract position with a duration of 6 months, and we are looking for someone who can start immediately.
