About the position

The Senior Integration Engineer will play a crucial role in the Chief Technology Office, focusing on the Local Public Health Project. This position involves leading the design and implementation of middleware solutions, optimizing system performance, and ensuring effective API management. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and a results-driven mindset, contributing to the organization's success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, design and implement middleware solutions including installation & administration.
  • Utilize best practices to provide recommendations for optimizing system performance using Mulesoft and other integration technologies.
  • Design, implement, and maintain APIs (SOAP & REST).
  • Liaise with application development teams to build API capability, including security and policy management.
  • Develop and maintain a service/API registry.
  • Guide the migration and modernization of API/web service and integration components from current implementations.

Requirements

  • Expert in Mulesoft and other integration technologies.
  • 10+ years of experience in software development.
  • Strong technical expertise in Java/J2EE and Oracle OSB 12c.
  • Expert knowledge of MuleSoft and connectors.
  • Experience with AWS offerings and services, including API Gateway and WAF.
