About the position

The Sr. Application Developer role is a critical position within the team, aimed at enhancing integration capabilities and enterprise application development. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java development and integration tools, contributing to the overall success of the team by collaborating with various groups and driving projects forward.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java and integration tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of applications.
• Participate in the design and implementation of integration solutions using tools like Spring Integration, Apache Camel, and MuleSoft.
• Contribute to the development of RESTful and SOAP web APIs.
• Utilize enterprise integration patterns to solve complex integration challenges.
• Engage in Agile development practices and participate in sprint planning and reviews.

Requirements

• 7-8 years of experience in application development, with a focus on integration.
• Strong background in enterprise application integration tools such as TIBCO, Apache Camel, Spring Integration, and MuleSoft.
• 3+ years of experience with web APIs (RESTful and SOAP).
• 5+ years of experience in enterprise Java programming, particularly with Spring.
• Deep database experience with Oracle, DB2, MS SQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL for at least 5 years.
• 3+ years of experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, Hbase, or Neo4J is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies for at least 3 years.
• Experience with messaging systems such as ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, or IBM MQ is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in leading development teams or projects.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and services.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
