About the position

The Sr. Application Developer will work closely with the operational support team to manage and execute tasks related to the scheduling and operation of mainframe rehost environment jobs. This role requires a deep understanding of complex systems and the ability to analyze business processes to meet client needs effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support applications for highly complex systems.
• Serve as subject matter expert in own area of specialization.
• Respond to system failures and analyze underlying problems.
• Perform scheduling and operating of jobs and tasks.
• Act as a liaison with clients, vendors, contractors, and management staff.
• Develop and maintain documentation for applications, systems, programs, processes, and operating instructions.
