About the position

LCG, Inc. is seeking a Senior Application Developer to provide support in planning, designing, developing, and delivering low-code applications and workflows using Microsoft tools. This role involves extensive work with SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and other Microsoft Power Platform tools, ensuring secure and high-quality solutions while adhering to federal information systems privacy and security controls.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, develop, and support low-code applications and workflows using SharePoint Online, M365 apps, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Design and manage data models that support reporting and visualization using Power BI, documenting the types of data collected and produced by client business units.
  • Experience in SQL and query languages for database management.
  • Design and support SharePoint Online sites, including data migration and management of site permissions, ensuring adherence to client procedures and best practices.
  • Build solutions using Power Platform tools and manage application inventories while ensuring solutions follow client standards.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all developed solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in application development, with at least 3 years of recent experience working with Microsoft SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Strong knowledge of Power Platform tools (Power Virtual Agents, Power Pages) and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with database management, SQL, query languages, and data modeling.
  • Knowledge of federal information systems privacy and security controls, including NIST and FISMA compliance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in developing low-code solutions within federal government agencies, specifically NIH or similar environments.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Microsoft Certified: Solutions Expert (M365 or SharePoint Online).
  • Certifications in Agile methodologies, such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or PMI-ACP.
