About the position

The Sr. Application Development and Support Engineer - Workday at The Nature Conservancy is responsible for developing and supporting Workday applications to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of Workday solutions, providing technical expertise, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Workday applications to meet organizational needs.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Workday-related issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
• Conduct system testing and validation to ensure quality and performance standards are met.
• Participate in the planning and execution of Workday upgrades and enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in application development and support, specifically with Workday.
• Strong understanding of Workday modules and functionality.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Experience with Workday integrations and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
