The Senior Application Engineer will play a crucial role within the Digital & Technology, Parks Technology team at Universal Orlando Resort, focusing on Workforce Management Technologies. This position is integral to supporting the operational needs of Universal Destinations and Experiences. The engineer will be responsible for a variety of tasks including defining, configuring, developing, testing, analyzing, and maintaining the UKG Workforce Management (WFM) Pro and UKG Workforce Central systems. This includes modules for timekeeping, scheduling, attendance, and data management. The role requires a deep understanding of the UKG systems and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions that enhance operational efficiency and improve user experience. In this position, the Senior Application Engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the Workforce Management technologies align with the overall business strategy and operational goals. The engineer will also be tasked with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to the WFM systems, ensuring that they function optimally and meet the needs of the organization. Additionally, the role involves staying updated with the latest advancements in workforce management technologies and recommending improvements or upgrades as necessary. The engineer will also participate in training and supporting end-users to maximize the effectiveness of the systems in place. This position is hybrid, requiring in-person collaboration at least three days a week, which underscores the importance of teamwork and communication in achieving project goals.
