About the position

As a Senior Applications/Sales Engineer in the Building Automation - Global Field Devices division at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and promoting our innovative field devices, including valves, actuators, and variable frequency drives, for building automation solutions on a global scale. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and sales skills to effectively engage with customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions that contribute to the growth and success of our business in the field of building automation. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by driving sales and building strong customer relationships. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric solutions and identify new business opportunities. Your technical knowledge and sales acumen in valves, actuators, and variable frequency drives will be instrumental in achieving our business objectives. Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to understand their building automation needs
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to customers in selecting the right field devices, including valves, actuators, and variable frequency drives
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive growth in the global market

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in sales engineering or related roles
  • Strong technical background in building automation and field devices, including valves, actuators, and variable frequency drives

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as engineering or related field
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
