About the position

The Sr Application Software Developer - UI at Intuitive will enhance the Aperture platform, enabling Field Service Engineers to service systems efficiently. This role involves designing, implementing, and testing complex software to facilitate tasks such as error analysis and preventive maintenance, while ensuring a user-friendly experience. The position requires collaboration with stakeholders and a commitment to delivering high-quality products that prioritize patient care.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with stakeholders to develop functional and user-friendly software.
• Impact user interaction with software to ensure a seamless and intuitive experience.
• Develop test platform software for distribution, execution, and record-keeping of service software.
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary setting to drive high-level changes and solve technical issues independently.
• Design and refine interfaces between service software components.

Requirements

• Expert level knowledge of Python
• Expert level knowledge of Qt/QML
• Experience developing desktop applications for Windows
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
• Minimum BSc degree in Computer Science or adjacent technical field with 8 years of experience, or Master's degree with 6 years of experience, or PhD degree with 3 years of experience.

Nice-to-haves
