About the position

The Sr. Application Software Developer at Enterprise Horizon Consulting Group will support a Department of Defense (DoD) project by designing and developing database-driven IT applications. This role requires adherence to DoD guidelines and policies, ensuring operational status and performance enhancements of the systems. The position is contingent upon contract award and involves remote work with occasional travel for customer meetings.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop database driven IT applications for DOD systems
• Develop, update, enhance, and maintain IT software code, structures, scripts, and system configurations for web and client-server type applications
• Provide troubleshooting assistance and analysis to customers and other activities for application, database, software, hardware and/or interface related issues
• Operate within DOD guidelines and policies to maintain the operational status of the system, correct faults, introduce enhancements, improve performance, consolidate, or to adapt the system to changing environments or requirements
• Provide CCB with documentation on code, testing, configuration changes, errors and resolutions

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance is required
• IAT III certification is required (CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH, CCSP)
• Bachelor's Degree in computer or information science degree is required
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience designing and developing database driven IT applications in one or more software languages such as C++, Java/J2EE, Visual Basic, .NET, HTML/XML, PowerBuilder, and/or Delphi
• Navy IT project experience highly desired
