About the position

As a Senior Applications Developer in the Business Applications team at Uber, you will be responsible for implementing scalable Salesforce-related technical solutions and integrating various platforms to enhance user growth, safety, and global expansion. This role involves monitoring and resolving performance and quality issues, ensuring that the solutions developed significantly impact Uber's business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of developers in creating Salesforce solutions, ensuring high-quality project delivery.
• Design, build, and optimize Salesforce functionality for B2B teams.
• Build and configure APIs with internal and third-party cloud solutions.
• Check in and deploy code and configurations; participate in release management.
• Improve and build solutions to address architectural gaps or technical debt.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Update and maintain technical documentation for business and compliance purposes.
• Monitor, assess, and report on Salesforce system health and usage; identify needed system improvements related to performance and scalability.
• Execute with a team of solution architects, program managers, and engineers.

Requirements

• Expert in Apex, Lightning, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, and JavaScript.
• Minimum of 7+ years of Salesforce application development experience.
• Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, Platform Developer 1 & 2, Administrator 201.
• Experienced with Salesforce SOAP API, REST API, and BULK API.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce APIs and its integration capabilities.
• Experienced with Web UI frameworks in Visualforce pages or Lightning components.
• Strong command on Salesforce platform, its capabilities and limitations.
• Strong command on Trigger, batch, schedulers, platform Event, and Change Data Capture.
• Good understanding of Object-oriented programming concepts.
• Excellent verbal, written, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Excellent cross-functional stakeholder management.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for technology, industry research, and enjoys solving business problems.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with integration platforms, like Mulesoft.
• Strong interpersonal skills and exhibits excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Salesforce Application and platform developer and/or Architect Certifications.

Benefits

• Base salary range of USD$171,000 - USD$190,000 per year.
