Requirements

• 3+ years of building machine learning models for business applications.
• PhD or Master's degree with 3+ years of applied research experience.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python, or related languages.
• Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning.
• Experience with computer vision.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with modeling tools such as R, scikit-learn, Spark MLLib, MxNet, Tensorflow, numpy, scipy, etc.
• Experience using ML in video compression.
• Experience designing video filters.

Responsibilities

• Improve the quality per bit in home-grown video encoders using traditional and AI techniques.
• Design improved video filters, including scalers, deinterlacers, and new perceptual filters.
• Enable new workflows for customers to extract information from their content.
