About the position

The Sr. Applied Scientist role within Project Kuiper focuses on developing and enhancing AI models to improve automated customer service solutions. This position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate AI technologies into customer service platforms, ensuring the chatbot and IVR systems are accurate, reliable, and continuously improving to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, fine-tuning, and evaluation of AI models for chatbot and IVR solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into the customer service platform.
• Monitor the performance of AI models and implement ongoing enhancements.
• Work with stakeholders across Kuiper to solve ML and AI problems.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building machine learning models for business applications.
• PhD or Master's degree with 6+ years of applied research experience.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
• Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with modeling tools such as R, scikit-learn, Spark MLLib, MxNet, Tensorflow, numpy, scipy.
• Experience with large scale distributed systems such as Hadoop and Spark.
