About the position

The Sr. Architect (Cloud Catalog) position at TekWissen involves leading the design and scaling of a Kubernetes platform, focusing on automation and cloud infrastructure provisioning. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud concepts and hands-on experience with Kubernetes at scale, as well as the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a new team dedicated to Kubernetes automation.

Responsibilities

• Design and scale the Kubernetes platform.
• Operate control planes for large-scale Kubernetes environments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) automation for cloud infrastructure provisioning.
• Ensure security concepts are integrated, including zero-trust design principles.
• Collaborate with team members on Kubernetes automation using Crossplane.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in relevant fields.
• 7 years of experience managing Kubernetes at scale.
• 7 years of experience with cloud concepts (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• 5 years of experience with Python and Golang programming.
• Hands-on knowledge of cloud computing, virtualization, containerization, and microservices.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Cross-Plane.
• Knowledge of security concepts and SRE/Resiliency concepts.
• Familiarity with DevOps and GitOps for solution delivery.
