As a Senior Architect in Data Visualization at American Airlines, you will be an integral member of the Reliability Engineering team within the Technical Operations Division. This role is pivotal in overseeing data pipelines and ensuring the accessibility and integrity of data across both on-premises and cloud environments. You will drive initiatives aimed at modernizing our data architecture, which is essential for facilitating reporting and advanced analytics, including machine learning. Your focus will be on strategic solution planning while ensuring adherence to data governance principles, which are critical for maintaining the quality and reliability of our data systems. In this position, you will support ETL processes that are crucial for engineering analysis and reporting. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining advanced descriptive and predictive machine learning models and processes. Your expertise will be utilized in creating various reports, dashboards, and visualizations that will aid in decision-making across the organization. Additionally, you will troubleshoot enterprise data systems and workflows to ensure data integrity, participate in and lead cross-organizational projects, and interface with IT to institutionalize new tools.
