About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect to join our team and lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative solutions leveraging Salesforce Data Cloud, with a specific focus on its use of a Customer Data Platform with Salesforce Marketing Cloud. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting and delivering complex data solutions that meet the evolving needs of our business, enabling seamless data flow and enhanced marketing capabilities. This position requires a deep understanding of data warehousing, data integration, data governance, and the Salesforce ecosystem, particularly the interplay between Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud. As a Senior Architect, you will take a lead role in providing strategic consultation to business customers in defining or designing more complex business processes, functions, and organizational structures. You will facilitate the development of enterprise business solutions that combine knowledge of particular business processes and issues, general technological options, and process facilitation techniques. Your participation in enterprise strategy development will include environmental analysis, opportunity identification, value cases, and business innovation portfolio development. You will also specify and design large or complex systems, solutions, networks, infrastructure elements, or processes. This includes selecting appropriate design standards, methods, and tools, and ensuring their effective application. You will review others' system designs to ensure the selection of appropriate technology, efficient resource use, and integration of multiple systems and technologies. Additionally, you will establish policies for selecting complex architecture components and evaluate major design options. Your role will involve using appropriate tools to contribute to the development of complex architectures, producing detailed component requirements, specifications, and translating these into detailed solutions for implementation. You will provide advice on technical aspects of system development, integration, and processes, ensuring that relevant technical and business strategies, policies, standards, and practices are applied correctly. You will lead the identification of technical, organizational, and physical environments in which complex products or systems will operate, proposing and initiating significant improvement programs. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring the resolution of complex architecture and business problems, serving as a technical or business lead for highly complex project initiatives, and communicating effectively with all levels of the organization. You will manage expectations of customers, partners, and management, and participate in customer walkthroughs and plans, design and technical walkthroughs, and problem resolution and decision-making. In addition, you will maintain an in-depth knowledge of specific technical aspects in your area of expertise and provide expert advice regarding their application. You will take a lead role in providing leadership and mentoring in the areas of expertise and architecture to peers, developers, management, and business users, preparing presentations on complex issues to ensure consistency with the organization's strategic direction. Responsibilities

• Participate in customer walkthroughs, design walkthroughs, and problem resolution.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of technical aspects in the area of expertise and provide expert advice.
• Provide leadership and mentoring in areas of expertise and architecture to peers and junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or closely related discipline.
• 5 years in an IT discipline.
• 5 years in a Business discipline.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce Data Cloud architecture, features, and capabilities.
• Proficiency in data warehousing concepts, including data modeling, ETL processes, and data governance.
• Experience with data integration tools and technologies, such as Informatica or MuleSoft.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's Degree.
• Salesforce certifications related to Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or other relevant areas.
• Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI, for marketing data analysis.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices, particularly in data pipeline development and deployment.
