This role supports the North American Technical Insulation Air Distribution business and is accountable for driving profitable sales growth by providing customer-inspired solutions and executing Owens Corning's sales and marketing initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining existing customer relationships while also forging new connections to support growth objectives. You will leverage cross-functional resources to create and communicate a compelling value proposition, utilizing marketing tools, product portfolios, construction data, and relationships to drive regional growth. The position requires strategic thinking and the ability to execute an annual sales plan that aligns with customer success. You will be expected to drive growth within the building materials industry, execute pricing strategies, and provide valuable customer insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, with a proven track record of delivering results. You will need to possess excellent listening skills to understand and diagnose customer problems, as well as the ability to build strong customer relationships. The role requires persuasive product presentation skills and a commitment to conducting oneself with the highest ethical and moral standards. This position is home office based, with the ability to travel overnight, and requires up to 65% travel within the territory.

Requirements

  • Prior experience selling on the value of a product or service to meet customer needs, from cold call through close.
  • 3-5 years of demonstrated ability to deliver results in a previous sales role is preferred.
  • Strong listening skills to understand, diagnose, and solve customer problems.
  • Ability to drive success in business with a clear and intentional customer or territory strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong customer relationships.
  • Ability to make persuasive product presentations.
