About the position
As a Sr. Digital Design Engineer at Micron Technology, you will play a crucial role in the design of next-generation ASICs and controller IP. This position involves working within a highly-skilled team focused on high-speed design, utilizing advanced memory and semiconductor technologies to innovate and enhance product offerings. You will engage in various aspects of digital design, including RTL development for DRAM memory controllers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and validation of designs.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop RTL for next-generation DRAM memory controllers and subsystems.
- Participate in the development of digital designs that interact with full custom analog designs and 3rd party IP.
- Engage with FEOL and BEOL teams from Design Verification, Analog Design, and Modeling to Synthesis and Physical Implementation.
- Contribute to advanced packaging discussions and setting customer requirements.
- Be hands-on during Chip bring-up and Lab Validation.
- Present engineering ideas and designs to team members.
Requirements
- B.S./M.S. in Electrical Engineering.
- 4+ years of experience in digital design.
- Strong knowledge of logic design coding and verification techniques.
- Experience with high-speed IO crossings.
- Proficient in software programming, Linux shell scripting, and Python.
- Understanding of analog and mixed-signal circuits, including CMOS/CML logic, PLL, DLL, CDR.
- Experience with DRAM interfaces and memory-system RAS (Reliability, Availability, Serviceability).
- Familiarity with industry-standard tools for synthesis, linting, equivalency, and formal verification.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
