About the position

As an Investor Asset Management Sr. Consultant at CBRE, you will play a pivotal role in managing, exploring, and redeveloping large and high-profile portfolios to enhance value growth. This position is integral to the Investor Asset Management function, where you will provide strategic advice and implementation on both conventional and innovative investment opportunities. Your responsibilities will include developing and defining asset business plans for the assigned portfolio, reviewing strategic real estate planning, and executing plans to optimize asset performance. You will lead the day-to-day property and facilities management operations for your portfolio, ensuring that all aspects are handled efficiently. This includes providing periodic asset performance reports to clients and CBRE leadership, managing cash flow distributions through effective tenant management, and optimizing high-performance fees while reducing costs. Your role will also involve developing marketing and property management strategies aimed at increasing the future value of properties. In addition to these responsibilities, you will present advanced asset management reports to clients, review the performance of local property managers, and implement efficiency initiatives. You will be expected to direct the input for property valuations and verify their accuracy, while also seeking out new business opportunities and strengthening relationships with key clients. Your expertise will be crucial in mentoring others within the organization, showcasing advanced knowledge in your discipline, and contributing to the development of new products and processes that align with functional goals. Your ability to communicate complex ideas effectively and influence stakeholders at various levels will be essential in achieving customer and operational objectives across multi-discipline teams. This role is guided by functional policies that impact the design of procedures and policies, making your contributions vital to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, define, and implement asset business plans for the assigned portfolio.
  • Review the strategic real estate planning and execution for the assigned portfolio.
  • Develop periodic proforma reviews of key owned assets.
  • Lead all aspects of the day-to-day property and facilities management operation for the assigned portfolio.
  • Provide periodic asset performance reports to client and CBRE leadership for the account.
  • Handle cash flow distribution through tenant management, securing rent levels and cash control.
  • Optimize high-performance fees, manage cost reductions, and lead value growth by improving rental income and lowering the risk profile.
  • Develop marketing and property management strategies to increase the property's future value.
  • Present advanced asset management reports to clients.
  • Review the performance of local property managers and implement efficiency initiatives.
  • Direct the input for the property valuations process and verify the correctness of valuations.
  • Seek out new business opportunities and strengthen relationships with current key clients.
  • Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new methods for accomplishing objectives.
  • Showcase expertise in own job discipline and in-depth knowledge of other job disciplines within the organization.
  • Mentor others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience; a combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions having a broad impact on the business.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
  • Highly sophisticated math skills, including the ability to calculate complex figures such as percentages and fractions.
