The Senior Assistant Facilities Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Facilities Manager in overseeing the operations of a facility or campus environment. This management position involves direct and indirect supervision of building staff and operations, ensuring that all activities align with company best practices and client objectives. The Senior Assistant Facilities Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the facility, which includes janitorial services, life-safety protocols, engineering, site services, and general maintenance. In this position, the Senior Assistant Facilities Manager will manage the building staff in the absence of the Facility Manager or Senior Facility Manager, performing all managerial functions as required. The role also involves preparing budgets and financial reports, collecting and analyzing statistical data, and ensuring compliance with insurance requirements for tenants and vendors. The Senior Assistant Facilities Manager must possess strong communication and leadership skills, as well as technical proficiency in facility management. The position requires a comprehensive understanding of management contracts, vendor agreements, and the ability to monitor and report on facility conditions.
