About the position

The Sr. Assistant, Program Management at KBR's Government Solutions - US, Defense Systems Engineering Business Unit is responsible for supporting the Program Management team in various capacities, including financial analysis, budget tracking, report preparation, and inventory management. This role requires a blend of technical, financial, logistics, quality, and administrative skills to ensure effective program execution and compliance with established procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Program Management team with financial analysis and budget tracking.
  • Prepare and submit reports related to program performance.
  • Track external provider performance through inspections and analysis.
  • Establish and maintain tools, equipment, and material inventories.
  • Assist in achieving Program Management goals across all project stages.
  • Perform program financial analysis and budget tracking.
  • Conduct material and parts research, purchasing, and receiving inspections.
  • Log results and track inventory, including kitting of parts for fabrication and assembly.
  • Support test plans, data analysis, and documentation for projects.
  • Utilize WASP inventory management software to track KBR and Government equipment.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • High School diploma with related advanced training or college courses.
  • Minimum of 6 years of related experience in program management, financial and asset management.
  • At least 1 year of experience in purchasing and inventory management.
  • DOD Secret clearance or eligibility to obtain clearance within 12 months.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Cost Point enterprise software for financial analysis and budget tracking.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel for program and project financial analysis.
  • Familiarity with WASP inventory control software and wireless scanner tools.
  • Experience with Quality Management System (QMS) processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.
