About the position

The Sr. Associate, Brand Copywriter at Capital One Auto is responsible for crafting compelling messaging that guides customers through the marketing funnel. This role requires a strong storyteller who can balance high-level creative concepts with detail-oriented marketing tasks. The copywriter will work within a creative team and collaborate with various business partners, project managers, and strategy teams, focusing on both B2B and B2C advertising in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Developing primarily digital communications for consumer acquisition including email, web banners, and native app or website placements.
• Deliver high-quality creative in a data-backed, performance marketing environment.
• Closely collaborating with designers, developers, data science, and analytics teams.
• Understanding business priorities and anticipating needs in your work.
• Participating in brainstorming sessions and recognizing ideas that should go forward.
• Effectively tailoring messages and pitching concepts to a broad group of approvers and stakeholders.
• Staying updated on email, mobile, and digital design trends and best practices.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of copywriting experience.
• At least 2 years of experience working in a cross-functional environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree or military experience.
• 4+ years of copywriting experience.
• 3+ years of experience working in a cross-functional environment.
• 3+ years of experience working on in-house marketing.
• 1+ years of experience in one or more of the following marketing areas: B2B, Experiential or direct response performance marketing.
• 1+ years of experience in the financial services or medical industry.
