About the position

The Sr. Associate, Brand Copywriter at Capital One Auto is responsible for crafting compelling messaging that guides customers through the marketing funnel. This role requires a strong storyteller who can balance high-level creative concepts with detail-oriented marketing tasks. The copywriter will work within a creative team and collaborate with various stakeholders, including business partners and project managers, to develop digital communications aimed at consumer acquisition. The position demands strong communication skills, the ability to manage workloads under tight deadlines, and a solid understanding of B2B and B2C advertising trends.

Responsibilities

• Developing primarily digital communications for consumer acquisition, including email, web banners, and native app or website placements.
• Creating high-quality creative content in a data-backed, performance marketing environment.
• Collaborating closely with designers, developers, data science, and analytics teams.
• Understanding business priorities and anticipating needs in work.
• Participating in brainstorming sessions and recognizing viable ideas.
• Effectively tailoring messages and pitching concepts to a broad group of approvers and stakeholders.
• Staying updated on email, mobile, and digital design trends and best practices.
• Multitasking and working directly with team members to solve creative problems.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of copywriting experience.
• At least 2 years of experience working in a cross-functional environment.

• Bachelor's degree or military experience.
• 4+ years of copywriting experience.
• 3+ years of experience working in a cross-functional environment.
• 3+ years of experience working on in-house marketing.
• 1+ years of experience in B2B, Experiential, or direct response performance marketing.
