About the position

The Sr Associate, Communications at Pfizer Collegeville will play a crucial role in supporting effective communication strategies related to site operations and initiatives. This position involves executing day-to-day communication tasks, including content writing and developing visual communications, while also leading local events and managing campus operations. The role aims to enhance engagement and ensure that the campus audience is well-informed about various activities and programs.

Responsibilities

  • Write, edit, and prepare internal communications including site emails, newsletters, and training materials.
  • Develop graphic designs and coordinate production and distribution of materials.
  • Maintain consistency in visual branding across the site in line with communication strategies.
  • Support the Site Affairs Lead in developing communication strategies for site projects.
  • Represent the site in the Communicators Network and align communications efforts.
  • Support colleague recognition programs and engagement strategies.
  • Assist in planning and executing community events and building relationships with site colleagues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with three years of relevant experience; OR Master's degree with one year of relevant experience; OR Associate's degree with six years of relevant experience; OR eight years of relevant experience with a high school diploma.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong graphic design and/or web design skills.
  • Strong business acumen and organizational skills.
  • Ability to develop creative ideas to solve communication challenges.
  • Self-starter mentality with project management skills.
  • Ability to influence various levels across the organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior communications experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industries.
  • Prior experience in the pharmaceutical and/or health care industry.
  • Knowledge of graphic design software.
