About the position

The Sr. Associate Product Marketing Manager for Financial Services is responsible for creating and executing marketing strategies for a portfolio of products tailored for Banks, Wealth Managers, and Insurance Companies. This role emphasizes storytelling, customer success, and technical expertise, aiming to simplify complex concepts and drive customer engagement through innovative demos and effective messaging.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product Management to understand product strategy and roadmaps, distilling key functionality and value into core product positioning and messaging.
  • Roadmap product strategy to life in launches, new releases, content, campaigns, events, and sales enablement.
  • Collaborate closely with industry product marketers, campaigns, solution engineering, and other product marketers to drive cross-functional alignment on programs to drive pipeline.
  • Develop succinct and effective sales training materials (training, FAQs, etc.) to facilitate understanding of the complete portfolio of products for non-technical sales teams.
  • Stay current with technology trends and incorporate new technologies into keynotes and demos.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in technical product marketing, product management, or solution engineering at a high-tech company focused on financial services, or directly at a financial services institution.
  • Experience with Salesforce products and/or other SaaS and B2B technology platforms; Salesforce Certifications (Administrator, Developer) and Trailhead badges are a plus.
  • Experience with enterprise applications such as CRM, Core Banking and Insurance Platforms, Middle Office Automation, or homegrown solutions.
  • Expertise in building product demos end-to-end, from crafting compelling narratives to owning the technical execution in demo videos and live demos.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present in front of executives, vendors, partners, and customers.
  • Consistent track record in defining/driving project execution with minimal guidance and performing well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on experience building a range of marketing assets, including compelling positioning and messaging, succinct slide pitch-decks, demo videos, and event/webinar content.
