About the position

As a Sr. Product Associate on the Chase Small Business Card team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the card product and enhancing the end-to-end customer experience for small business customers. This position involves collaboration with various partners across Finance, Risk, and Technology to achieve successful outcomes and drive product improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and assist cross-functional teams in documenting high-level objectives, business value, scope, and critical success factors.
  • Document changes that meet business objectives based on customer needs and business requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to recommend process and technology improvements and identify efficiency opportunities.
  • Ensure adherence to controls, applicable audit standards, and manage exceptions.
  • Make informed decisions, understanding the boundaries for decision-making and knowing when to escalate.
  • Resolve issues through mediation, negotiation, or escalation.
  • Build and leverage relationships within the organization to remove project obstacles and enhance organizational agility.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area.
  • Proficient knowledge of the product development lifecycle.
  • Experience in product lifecycle activities including discovery and requirements definition.
  • Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to varied audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • High degree of intellectual curiosity and capacity to connect the dots, synthesize complex information gathered from disparate sources, helping drive results under deadline.
  • Demonstrates respect for a diversity of opinions and styles.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Card, Retail Banking, and/or Digital strategy/product management is preferred.
  • Experience working in large, matrix organizations to support delivering exceptional customer benefits and experiences.
