About the position

The Senior Auditor will play a crucial role in executing strategic audits within the Corporate Audit Department at Campbell's. This position involves utilizing analytics tools to translate data into actionable business insights, conducting end-to-end business process reviews, and collaborating with key stakeholders to enhance audit processes. The role requires a motivated team player who can effectively communicate audit findings and recommendations while maintaining strong relationships across various business units.

Responsibilities

  • Execute audits through data analysis tools and technology to assess business processes
  • Identify trends and root causes of audit observations, making recommendations for control or process improvements
  • Effectively communicate results and observations, providing clear, concise workpapers that facilitate review and allows for re-performance of testing
  • Establish and maintain excellent relationships across various businesses, working actively with stakeholders on agreed upon action items
  • Coach associates on proper documentation, detail requirements and timelines
  • Support Audit Team Leads and Audit Managers on various department deliverables and initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field (MBA considered)
  • 2-5 years of experience in internal audit, public accounting, or business operational/financial role
  • Intellectual curiosity to understand business risks and challenges
  • Analytical mindset to identify trends and root causes in audit observations
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to leverage technology
  • Exceptional communication skills to translate audit findings into business language

Nice-to-haves

  • CPA designation
  • Experience with Big 4 or regional firms
  • Experience performing risk assessments
  • Familiarity with technologies such as SAP and Power BI
  • CIA, CFE, or other professional certification
  • Proactive work style to escalate issues timely
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Motivation to improve existing tools and processes
