About the position

The Senior Auditor will play a crucial role in executing strategic audits within Campbell's Corporate Audit Department. This position involves utilizing analytics tools to translate data into business insights, conducting end-to-end business process reviews, and providing independent assurance and consulting services to improve company operations. The role requires effective communication of audit findings and collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance processes and controls.

Responsibilities

• Execute audits through data analysis tools and technology to assess business processes.
• Identify trends and root causes of audit observations, making recommendations for control or process improvements.
• Effectively communicate results and observations, providing clear, concise workpapers that facilitate review and allows for re-performance of testing.
• Establish and maintain excellent relationships across various businesses, working actively with stakeholders on agreed upon action items.
• Coach associates on proper documentation, detail requirements and timelines.
• Support Audit Team Leads and Audit Managers on various department deliverables and initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or other related field; MBA degree is also considered.
• 2-5 years of experience in internal audit, public accounting, or business operational/financial role.
• Intellectual curiosity to understand business risks and challenges.
• Analytical mindset to expand data analysis capabilities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to leverage technology.
• Exceptional communication skills to translate audit findings into business language.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Motivation to improve existing tools and processes.

Nice-to-haves

• CPA designation
• Experience with Big 4 or regional firms
• Experience performing risk assessments
• Familiarity with technologies such as SAP and Power BI
• CIA, CFE, or other professional certification.
