About the position

The Senior Autodesk API Developer at IMAGINIT Technologies will be responsible for developing custom software solutions that meet client requirements, utilizing Autodesk APIs and other technologies. This role involves collaborating with team members and clients, estimating project efforts, and leading development tasks while ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Translate client requirements to development effort
  • Contribute to solution visioning and overall project planning
  • Accurately estimate level-of-effort for projects
  • Identify gaps in scope vs expectations
  • Lead the development effort on projects
  • Track progress within project management tools
  • Produce required technical documentation
  • Participate in pre-sales proposals and customer communications
  • Maintain understanding of relevant technologies and project approaches
  • Adhere to code management best practices
  • Develop quality code and deliverables
  • Track time and expenses
  • Communicate with project managers and stakeholders
  • Test code before delivery and support client validation
  • Produce summary information for project intellectual property
  • Contribute software, processes, or practices to IMAGINiT intellectual property

Requirements

  • BS in computer science, engineering, or mathematics
  • 7+ years of experience developing and delivering software applications
  • 5+ years of experience with C# and .NET Framework
  • 2+ years of experience with Autodesk APIs (AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit, Vault or Autodesk SaaS platforms)
  • Experience with full stack ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server, and Azure cloud services
  • Proficient with Git in multi-developer environments
  • Experience in Agile methodology concepts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple duties and projects
  • Experience working within a small team of developers with source control tools

  • Experience with Azure DevOps
  • Proficient in asynchronous JavaScript development
