About the position

TT Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to join their team in Hicksville, NY, with potential travel to various unanticipated locations across the U.S. The role involves designing and implementing test automation frameworks, coding automation scripts, and providing leadership in testing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java and automation tools, along with experience in the software development and testing lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Prepare test plan, test estimation, test metrics, and test cases.
• Design test automation framework/script.
• Analyze and design the test framework for Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, and SOAP UI.
• Code automation/create scripts for APIs based on requirements.
• Write Java and Cucumber Gherkin scripts for creating reference data from Sybase and various web applications.
• Involved in complete Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Provide leadership and direction to the team to create and execute a comprehensive project test plan.
• Configure and automate coding on End Client and multiple source systems.
• Plan, analyze, design, and implement the Maven project, and enhance the automation framework.
• Perform data analysis on Message Queue JSON data and interpret from external file systems.
• Coordinate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Create complex ASDB/Sybase SQL queries.
• Involved in coding in Java for Unit, Integration, and System testing.
• Analyze the test plan, design, and develop scripts, and maintain automation scripts.
• Involved in manual and automation validation and back-end systems' validation.

Requirements

• Must possess a master's degree in computer information systems or related field.
• 6 months experience in the position offered or related position.
• Experience with Java, Selenium WebDriver, SOAP UI, GIT, preparing requirement traceability matrix (RTM), and QA training.
