Then take your next career step with us. We're hiring an Automotive Marketing & Communications Manager in Austin, Texas to support NXP's Automotive business. As a leader in the automotive industry, we offer automakers and tier-1 suppliers a broad portfolio of differentiating hardware and software system solutions to advance software-defined vehicles. We expect you to help create and shape impactful content - all aimed at proving how we strive to enable zero emissions, zero accidents, and zero time wasted while on the road. In this cross-functional role, you will engage with international marketing & communications experts, working in close collaboration with global teams across NXP as well as agencies to effectively create new content and support Marcom strategies for the automotive business. Your objective is to create and execute on impactful thought leadership initiatives that increase awareness for NXP in Asia, the U.S., and Europe and to help grow our automotive business.

Responsibilities

  • Compose impactful narratives and utilize exceptional storytelling abilities that distill complex concepts into engaging messages for thought leadership content used in customer and partner programs or projects, integrated marketing campaigns, keynotes and events, videos, PR, social media
  • Provide strategic communications coordination across the automotive marketing communications team, ensuring seamless execution and alignment across event activities, keynotes, marketing materials, employee communications and new automotive solution introductions
  • Manage and execute large-scale thought leadership activities and programs for automotive
  • Collaborate with NXP subject matter experts, agencies and other third-parties to create compelling content, ranging from presentation materials to videos and blog content
  • Work closely with an internal brand and creative team or agencies for a consistent and impactful look & feel

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism or related field
  • 5+ years of work experience in Marketing & Communications in technology sector
  • Proven track record in storytelling, content creation and marketing communications
  • Excellent writing, editing and project management skills
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and manage external partnerships
