About the position

As an Audio Visual Engineer at GDIT, you will play a crucial role in transforming technology into opportunity by supporting intelligence customers with audio-visual equipment. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the functionality of AV systems, providing technical support during meetings, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. This position requires a Top Secret clearance and offers the chance to work with cutting-edge technology in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the operation, movement, and storage of all AV equipment.
• Provide customer support for audio-visual equipment usage and troubleshooting.
• Conduct daily conference room checks to verify equipment functionality.
• Offer hands-on technical support for conference room meetings, including video, audio, and WebEx connectivity.
• Log all customer transactions in ServiceNow.
• Troubleshoot and resolve AV issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience supporting telephony, video, network, and collaboration devices.
• Strong customer service and end-user support skills.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting and resolving A/V issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Minimum of four years' experience with AV technologies.
• Experience with Cisco Telepresence endpoints, WebEx, Cisco CMS, and Cisco Jabber.
