About the position

The Sr AWS Cloud Systems Integration Engineer at Maximus is responsible for integrating AWS cloud solutions within Department of Defense (DoD) systems, ensuring seamless application interoperability. This role involves developing functional models, managing architectural processes, and prioritizing security to optimize AWS integration and maintain high standards for DoD infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Integrate AWS cloud solutions across DoD systems, supporting web application integrations.
• Define requirements, create functional models, and develop architectural processes.
• Optimize system operations using AWS tools like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Ensure alignment with security protocols and standards for cloud services.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance required
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's preferred; may substitute for 2 years of experience)
• 10+ years of experience in cloud system integration with proficiency in AWS platforms
• At least 3 years of recent & relevant experience with DoD AWS cloud integrations, microservices and container platforms
• Must have 2 of the following certifications/trainings: AWS Solutions Architect Professional, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, AWS SysOps Administrator Associate, AWS Advanced Networking Specialty.
