About the position

The Sr. AWS Full Stack Developer at CGI Technologies and Solutions, Inc. is responsible for developing high-level designs and application code to meet business and technical requirements. This role involves working in a fast-paced, agile environment, supporting one of the largest leaders in the secondary mortgage industry. The position requires a strong background in Java development, AWS, and experience with various web application frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-level, detailed design for application components.
• Implement application code to meet business and technical requirements.
• Develop and execute unit test cases.
• Support the migration of code through various environments.
• Assist in user testing.

Requirements

• 10+ years of IT industry experience.
• Senior-level enterprise Java developer.
• 3-4 years of experience with Struts or Spring MVC, and Hibernate.
• Experience with AngularJS or other front-end web application frameworks.
• Experience with creating and consuming SOAP-based and RESTful Web Services.
• Strong working experience with core Java APIs.
• Experience configuring and deploying software on WebLogic and/or JBoss.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Experience in Oracle from a Java development standpoint.
• Ability to write batch or standalone jobs.
• Experience in Unix scripting.
• Experience in DB/SQL.
• Good communication skills.
• Experience with AWS is a must; AWS Certification is required.
