About the position

The Sr. AWS Full Stack Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting cloud-based applications using AWS and related technologies. This role requires strong collaboration and communication skills, as well as the ability to mentor team members and influence senior leadership. The developer will work in an Agile environment, focusing on both front-end and back-end technologies, ensuring high-quality software delivery through expert proficiency in various programming languages and design principles.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop cloud-based applications using AWS and related technologies.
• Mentor and coach team members, providing technical guidance and support.
• Implement integration solutions with Microservices, RESTful Web Services, and Web APIs.
• Lead Agile teams in software development processes and practices.
• Ensure high-quality software delivery through unit testing and behavior-driven testing techniques.
• Provide expertise in deployment, building, and release processes.

Requirements

• Minimum 9 years of experience in Java/J2EE and related technologies.
• Strong understanding of design principles and Object Oriented Design (OOD).
• Expert proficiency in unit testing and coding in 1-2 programming languages.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as Angular, TypeScript, and ReactJS.
• Experience in developing cloud-based capabilities, particularly with AWS.
• Expert proficiency in application of non-functional software qualities such as resiliency and maintainability.
• Experience leading and working in Agile teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience as a Senior Developer with technical guidance in software application design and architecture.
• Knowledge of Microservices-based architecture.
• Basic knowledge or experience in DevOps support and deployment.
