About the position

The Sr. AWS Java Full Stack Developer will play a crucial role in supporting one of the largest leaders in the secondary mortgage industry. This hybrid position requires a developer who is willing to learn and tackle technical challenges in a fast-paced environment, providing design and implementation expertise to a cross-functional agile software development team. The role involves developing high-level designs, application code, executing unit tests, and supporting code migration and user testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-level, detailed design for application components.
• Implement business and technical requirements through application code development.
• Develop and execute unit test cases.
• Support the migration of code through various environments.
• Assist in user testing.

Requirements

• 10+ years of IT industry experience.
• Senior-level enterprise Java development experience.
• 3-4 years of experience with Struts or Spring MVC, and Hibernate.
• Experience with AngularJS or other front-end web application frameworks.
• Experience creating and consuming SOAP-based and RESTful Web Services.
• Strong working experience with core Java APIs.
• Experience configuring and deploying software on WebLogic and/or JBoss.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Experience in Oracle from a Java development standpoint.
• Ability to write batch or standalone jobs.
• Experience in Unix scripting.
• Experience in DB/SQL.
• Good communication skills.
• Experience with AWS is a must; AWS Certification is required; experience in Python is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with additional front-end frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud services beyond AWS.
