About the position
The Sr. AWS Java Full Stack Developer will play a crucial role in a fast-paced team environment, supporting one of the largest leaders in the secondary mortgage industry. This hybrid position requires expertise in both front-end and back-end development, with a focus on AWS technologies. The developer will be responsible for designing and implementing application components, ensuring high-quality code, and collaborating within an agile framework.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-level and detailed design for application components.
- Implement business and technical requirements through application code.
- Develop and execute unit test cases.
- Support the migration of code through various environments.
- Assist in user testing.
Requirements
- 10+ years of IT industry experience.
- Senior-level enterprise Java development experience.
- 3-4 years of experience with Struts or Spring MVC, and Hibernate.
- Experience with AngularJS or other front-end web application frameworks.
- Experience creating and consuming SOAP-based and RESTful Web Services.
- Strong working experience with core Java APIs.
- Experience configuring and deploying software on WebLogic and/or JBoss.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Experience in Oracle from a Java development standpoint.
- Ability to write batch or standalone jobs.
- Experience in Unix scripting.
- Experience in DB/SQL.
- Good communication skills.
- Experience with AWS is a must; AWS Certification is required.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in Python would be an added advantage.
