About the position

S2 Global, an OSI Systems Company, is seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to develop and manage a robust cloud infrastructure that supports secure development operations, operational environments for multiple customers, and service tools for remote support. The role involves leading the design and implementation of cloud services, ensuring security and reliability, and managing Azure accounts and services.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop an Azure cloud environment that securely integrates with S2 Global Certscan products.
• Develop and submit technical designs that meet organizational needs and gain stakeholder approval.
• Manage Azure accounts and develop VPCs to support organizational needs.
• Design, implement, and administer secure network infrastructure and security policies.
• Oversee the implementation and administration of Azure services.
• Develop and maintain cloud services technical design documentation and operational policies.
• Monitor and analyze cloud infrastructure for performance, security, and resource utilization.
• Develop a cost-efficient environment capable of tracking resource usage and reporting costs.
• Work with the Development team to securely deploy system changes in a structured CI/CD process.
• Coordinate and administer access to cloud resources, including account provisioning and utilization tracking.
• Develop and maintain incident response protocols to protect operational status.
• Perform operations and administration for the cloud environment, including maintenance and patching of infrastructure.
• Assist in licensing and purchasing to support lab operations.
• Support Customer Network Operations Center NOC with Cloud Service Administration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of professional work experience in cloud service development and administration.
• Azure certifications are required, with strong preference for experience in DevOps and AI/Knowledge based solutions.
• Experience with hybrid cloud implementations and secure connections to on-premise resources.
• In-depth experience with Azure storage and compute environments, including managed and unmanaged services.
• Experience configuring and performing cloud environment monitoring for security, performance, and cost control.
• Detailed technical knowledge of operating system and network security in various Azure implementations.
• Hands-on experience in designing and implementing Azure cloud infrastructure solutions for enterprise operations.
• Experience supporting development operations and integration of CI/CD release protocols.
