About the position

The Senior Azure Data Engineer will play a crucial role in the continuous delivery of cloud-based ETL data processes and implementation. This position involves hands-on work with new projects from start to finish, focusing on data engineering within a healthcare technology company. The role requires a hybrid work schedule, with three days on-site in Plano, TX.

Responsibilities

• Involved in the continuous delivery of cloud-based ETL data processes.
• Hands-on with new projects from start to finish.
• Develop and implement Azure PaaS/SaaS solutions.
• Create and manage end-to-end data pipelines.
• Perform data validation, cleansing, transformation, and consolidation.
• Collaborate with team members on data engineering tasks.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience with Azure PaaS/SaaS solutions.
• Proficient in Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Experience with NoSQL, SQL, Azure SQL DB, PostgreSQL, and CosmosDB.
• Knowledge of Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS).
• Familiarity with industry-standard ETL development techniques.
• Experience in data analysis, warehousing, and modeling.
• Proficient in Azure DevOps and Fabric.

Nice-to-haves

• Programming skills in Python, C#, and PowerShell.
• Experience with PowerBI and/or Tableau.
• Exposure to Master Data Management (MDM).
