About the position

We are seeking a skilled Senior Azure & SQL Database Data Engineer to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing data storage solutions to ensure efficient data retrieval and support for data-driven applications. Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data architectures on Microsoft Azure, utilizing services like Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Develop and manage data pipelines using Azure Data Factory for automated data ingestion from various sources.
• Optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability, handling large data volumes.
• Select and configure appropriate Azure data storage solutions based on specific data needs, such as Azure Blob Storage and Azure Data Lake Storage.
• Design and implement dimensional data models within Azure Synapse Analytics or other data warehousing solutions.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions.
• Document data pipelines, models, and procedures for knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in Azure data services and best practices, and proactively identify opportunities to leverage new Azure features to improve data management and analytics capabilities.
• Ensure data security, compliance, and governance are implemented throughout the data lifecycle, maintaining accurate customer credit records.
• Use data visualization tools to create dashboards and reports, enhancing the data analysis and reporting process.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Apache Kafka, Apache Pig, and Apache Spark
• Experience with Cloud Technologies
• Skilled in Data Visualization and Algorithm Implementation
• Strong knowledge of Analytics and Apache Hadoop
• Familiarity with API Development and AWS Technologies
• Ability to Create Dashboards and Reporting Dashboards
• Experience with Interactive Data Visualization
• Extensive knowledge in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing (BI DW)
• Proficiency in Data Architecture
• Understanding of Dashboard metrics and Data aggregation
• Experience in Data Flow, Data Integration, and Data Mapping
• Familiarity with Data Platform and Data Pipelines
• Proficiency in Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, and Azure Pipelines
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Blob Storage
• Knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics
• Understanding of ETL - Extract Transform Load
• Experience with Big Data and Data Ingestion
• Ability to Automate Processes
• Knowledge of Star Schemas and Infrastructure as Code
