About the position

The Creators team at Amazon is dedicated to establishing the company as the premier destination for commerce influencers, associates, and their content. This team is composed of innovators who tackle complex challenges and focus on enhancing products and experiences that drive growth for creators. The team is responsible for the Creator product suite across Amazon, ensuring a seamless experience for users, experimenting with compensation structures, and launching features that foster a sense of achievement among creators, alongside monetary rewards. The goal is to strengthen the community, credibility, and positive feedback loops for creators, enhancing their overall experience with Amazon. In this role, you will be part of Amazon's Influencer Program (AIP), which is redefining the landscape of social commerce by addressing customer pain points and democratizing earning opportunities for all creator cohorts. As a customer-focused and passionate advocate for creator commerce, you will build and influence relationships with top creators, assisting them in generating revenue and developing audience strategies to reach new customers. You will tailor their content to drive shopping outcomes and promote Amazon's retail offerings, including subscription services like Prime Video, Music, and Audible. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social commerce trends and how Amazon's diverse selection and services can help creators monetize their content across various formats and platforms. Your role will involve leveraging your expertise in digital and social media, along with a solutions-oriented mindset, to recruit and engage creators, helping them maximize their earning potential with Amazon. You will be expected to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and to lead with data, employing an analytical approach to business development and decision-making. The position requires strong organizational skills, an entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to manage ambiguity while constantly innovating on behalf of creators. Building strong relationships and collaborating constructively with external partners will be key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Influence and build relationships with top creators to help them generate revenue.
  • Develop audience strategies to reach new customers and tailor content for shopping outcomes.
  • Promote Amazon's retail selection and subscription programs (Prime Video, Music, Audible).
  • Recruit and engage creators to grow their business with Amazon.
  • Maximize creators' earning potential through support and strategic guidance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements.
  • 5+ years of professional or military experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams.
