About the position

The Sr. BI Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the Business Intelligence Manager by assisting in analytical report development and data warehouse development. This position focuses on providing insights for management, operations, financials, and client-facing decision support, ultimately contributing to the company's strategic goals and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Shape, transform, organize, and analyze data to support company strategy and operational objectives.
• Leverage BI technology to automate and support data warehousing and BI operations.
• Assist in making data-driven decisions and identifying solutions for profitable growth and customer service excellence.
• Oversee and conduct training for staff on data management tools and business insights.
• Enhance reporting and insights using internal and external data.
• Collaborate with various departments to identify innovative solutions and information needs.
• Support the company by assisting with information strategy and satisfying BI requests in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain documentation, metadata, schemas, and corporate communications for BI tools.
• Continuously develop industry skills and knowledge to meet company expectations.
• Maintain knowledge of current trends and competitive intelligence reporting.
• Interact collaboratively with colleagues, agents, and customers.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in business intelligence, financial analysis, analytics, or data science.
• Competence in building databases and performing queries in Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or related technologies.
• Experience with data shaping, BI, statistical analysis, and data visualization tools (preferably MS SQL Server, SQL, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Excel, Python, R, Tableau, QGIS).
• Open to learning new technology tools and skills.
• Ability to communicate complex business concepts with data and analytics.
• Exceptional critical thinking and research skills.
• Experience working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and vendors.
• Self-starter with a focus on continuous learning and industry knowledge.
