The Senior Business Information Management Analyst (US) plays a crucial role in the Data & Analytics line of business at TD Bank, focusing on the implementation and maintenance of the data management operating model for US Liquidity. This position is responsible for establishing business-specific data standards, policies, and tracking ongoing data quality in alignment with enterprise guidelines. The primary goal is to effectively manage data through complex requirements and monitor the quality of data across US Liquidity, ensuring that the data management processes are robust and reliable. In this expert-level role, the analyst will provide technical leadership across a broad range of information management functions. This includes working independently as a senior lead, managing and directing activities related to the analysis, design, and support of business data management solutions on various projects, which may range from moderately complex to larger initiatives. The analyst is expected to have in-depth knowledge and expertise in their domain, as well as a working knowledge of related areas, allowing them to contribute effectively to the team and mentor others. The role requires advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in one or two programming languages. The analyst will work autonomously on a range of tasks, leading projects that involve complex risk and resource requirements. They will also be responsible for analyzing, designing, and developing data repositories, warehouses, and marts, as well as data movement, data wrangling, and transformation processes (ETL). Additionally, the analyst will support solutions, applications, platforms, and tools that are leveraged across various functional groups, including Data Scientists and Business Insights & Analytics teams. The position also involves developing data roadmaps and information management strategies, driving data-centric solution development, and adopting the Enterprise Data model in alignment with the direction from the Office of the Chief Data Officer (OCDO) and other data & analytics functional groups. The analyst will solicit, analyze, and understand data requirements to enable the development of effective information management solutions, ensuring that the data management practices are aligned with business needs and organizational strategies.
