About the position

The Senior Business Information Management Analyst (US) plays a crucial role in the implementation and maintenance of the data management operating model for US Liquidity. This position focuses on establishing business-specific data standards, policies, and tracking ongoing data quality in alignment with enterprise guidelines. The primary goal is to effectively manage data through complex requirements and monitor the quality of data across US Liquidity. As a senior lead, the analyst will provide business technical leadership across a broad range of information management functions to support various areas of data and analytics. This role requires independent work and may involve managing and directing activities related to the analysis, design, and support of business data management solutions on various projects, including larger initiatives. In this expert-level professional role, the analyst is considered a subject matter expert with in-depth knowledge and expertise in their domain, as well as a working knowledge of broader related areas. The position requires advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, fluency in one or two programming languages, and the ability to work autonomously on a range of tasks. The analyst will lead projects of moderate to complex risk and resource requirements, potentially overseeing end-to-end processes or functional programs. The role also involves working with very large datasets and familiarity with big data technologies, as well as keeping abreast of rapid business and technology innovations within the business information management field. The analyst will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and developing data repositories, warehouses, and marts, as well as data movement, data wrangling, data mapping, and transformation (ETL) processes. They will support solutions, applications, platforms, and tools leveraged across all functional groups, including Data Scientists and Business Insights & Analytics. Additionally, the analyst will develop data roadmaps and information management strategies, driving data-centric solution development focusing on complex data integration. They will solicit, analyze, and understand data requirements to enable the development of information management solutions, ensuring that business data is structured for various uses.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in business administration, statistics, mathematics, science, or finance.
  • Proficient knowledge of various data sources, tools, and technologies used in preparing summaries and reports.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data and draw conclusions.
  • Knowledge of current and emerging competitor and market trends.
  • Skill in using analytical software tools, data analysis methods, and reporting techniques.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment in decision-making.
  • Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines.
