About the position

The Senior Business Analyst at FM is responsible for gathering, evaluating, and communicating business requirements for the development and support of enterprise business applications. This role involves participating in system requirements definition, testing, training, and implementation, ensuring that business needs are met through effective analysis and collaboration with development teams.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and evaluate business requirements for new and existing enterprise applications.
  • Participate in system requirements definition, testing, training, and implementation.
  • Solicit business requirements through interviews, workshops, and documentation.
  • Utilize industry-standard analysis techniques such as journey mapping and data flow modeling.
  • Document analysis results using appropriate templates and tools.
  • Make recommendations for necessary changes based on deliverables from other groups.
  • Work with development teams to ensure integrated business solutions.
  • Act as project manager for limited scope projects, generally modifications to existing applications.
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of FM's business and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 4+ years of general business analysis experience.
  • Strong knowledge of functional design, data analysis, and data flow diagramming techniques.
  • Experience in gathering requirements and working with business processes.
  • Proven ability to work in technical environments with data flow diagramming and issue tracking tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral/written communication, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with Design Thinking methodology and processes is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other MS Office applications.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with tools such as Power BI and/or Tableau.
